The "5th International Congress on Psychopharmacology and  International Symposium on Child & Adolescent Psychopharmacology" will be held in Antalya on October 30 - November 03, 2013.

The 5th International Congress on Psychopharmacology and International Symposium on Child & Adolescent Psychopharmacology will provide an elite atmosphere in Antalya for discussions, solutions, and practical suggestions about daily practice problems and issues. It shall also be a 5-day window of opportunity for you, distinguished colleagues, to refresh, update, and expand your knowledge in major and challenging domains of psychopharmacology, biological psychiatry, neuroscience, neuroimaging, etc. by contributions from competent Turkish and international speakers. The Congress creates an interactive platform, where all participants are encouraged to ask questions and share their experiences about difficult and treatment resistant cases. Also application of new and emerging approaches to the mentioned cases are discussed by experts in their fields.

As always, the Congress shall bring together scientists from Turkey with the internationally known scientists to share experiences and ideas on the latest developments in psychopharmacology at the conference, panel, bilateral and multilateral discussion sessions, and satellite symposia. This congress shall also dedicate time to 'meet the specialist' sessions and courses, which will be held by distinguished scientists of the field. Attendance certificates will be awarded to the course participants.

Abstracts of poster presentations submitted to the 5th International Congress on Psychopharmacology and International Symposium on Child & Adolescent Psychopharmacology will be published in the latest issue of the Bulletin of Clinical Psychopharmacology. The papers submitted to the 5thCongress will become available at SCI-E.

The congress has been planned in three parallel sessions. The 5th Congress also aims to realize a first in the field: congress subjects to be covered, as well as possible speakers will be determined with your interactive participation and contribution. In order to accomplish this, you should log on to our website at Interactive Pages and convey us your choices and suggestions.

Furthermore, now traditionalized "The Poster Presentation Research Incentive Awards" will also be presented at the 5th International Congress on Psychopharmacology and International Symposium on Child & Adolescent Psychopharmacology to top-three posters selected by the jury.

ATTENTION:

For the poster presentations that will be nominated for the best poster awards on the Psychopharmacology Therapeutics Update, the presented material should not have been previously published anywhere else and the copyright release form must be signed for its publication in the Bulletin of Clinical Psychopharmacology. The paper should be presented in a format that meets the criteria stated in the information for authors section of the Bulletin of Clinical Psychopharmacology. The authors should submit the paper in full text. The body of the text should not exceed 2000 words, excluding the abstract and references sections.

In order to proceed with the application of Best Poster Awards of the Psychopharmacology Therapeutics Update of TAP; 

1. To register fort the best poster research incentive awards you have to answer the awards register question during the step 1. After that use the "Full Text/Load Abstract" button at the step 8. And load the file, which is prepare according to the rules on the system. Only the poster owners, which register only fort he awards, has to load their full text.Users which prefer a verbal presentation or not register fort the Poster awards did not has to load their full text.

2. Abstract in Turkish and English should be structured in the following sections: Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.

3. Similarly, body of the text should be segmented as Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion sections with the tables depicted where they are necessary.

4. References section should also comply with the rules of the Bulletin of Clinical Psychopharmacology and priority should be given to the articles published in Turkey first (i.e. the Bulletin of Clinical Psychopharmacology, Anatolian Journal of Psychiatry, New Symposium, Turkish Journal of Psychiatry, Archives of Neuropsychiatry). 5. Candidates will be evaluated on the properties of originality, contribution to the international knowledge, innovative changes on psychiatric diagnosis and treatments, quality of design and writing skills.

Poster presentations not meeting the above referred criteria will not be considered as a nominee for the best poster awards of the Psychopharmacology Therapeutics Update.

 

  THE BULLETIN OF CLINICAL PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY RESEARCH AWARDS

The owners of selected research papers published in Volumes 21 and 22 of the Bulletin of Clinical Psychopharmacology will be given "The Bulletin of Clinical Psychopharmacology Research Awards" during the congress.
